Jamaica represents to me a freedom I have not known since my childhood. I have traveled the worlds of many different people + cultures. I rode the Sahara in jeeps with my Dad, traveled alone through Ethiopia at age 18, but I have come to understand the beauty of owning land. Yes, I designed and am actually building a house in Jamaica by the sea…a house which looks like Morocco and I refer to as “the Sheltering sky”–

The true color of my life in Jamaica – the shadows are lengthening and the soft sweet breeze a blow – I am sitting in the middle of my land, looking around at the beauty of it all – it is a sight to behold !
